SCORM Auditor / Developer

Joe has been with the Co-Lab for two years, coordinating SCORM certification, adding SCORM conformance to internal products, developing LibSCORM, and assisting in various software development and web projects.

He has years of development experience in UNIX and Windows environments. He's written almost every kind of software: system utilities, genetic algorithms, games, a functional programming language, distributed scientific computing, electronic music synthesis, robotics, serial communication, client-server protocols.

He holds a BS in mathematics from the University of Wisconsin - Madison, and is currently interested in applying his mathematics background to computer science. He is developing a system of algorithmic grocery price prediction, and in the future intends to investigate the creation of provably correct software using the Curry-Howard isomorphism.

He has broad interests in many non-technical topics as well: 20th century classical music, Native American gardening techniques, long distance running, nature writers (Thoreau, Wendell Berry, etc), analytic philosophy.
