The Mobile Access to Supplemental Learning Objects (MASLO) system
is an open source solution for authoring content packets and
distributing them to learners on mobile devices.
MASLO consists of three parts:
- A desktop authoring tool
- A cloud storage and distribution system
- Player apps for iOS and Android devices.
The MASLO prototype will be completed in mid 2012. For more information about
the project, see the ADL website or find the MASLO project on github.
MASLO is being developed by the Academic Advanced Distributed
Learning Co-Lab at University of Wisconsin-Extension. The project
is funded through a Department of Defense Broad Agency Announcement.
